Chicago Fire Department responded to a warehouse fire at 3800 W 38th St. around 9:00 P.M. Last night. Companies had heavy fire and eventually it became a 3-11 Alarm Fire. Here is more on the story.
WGN – “Crews are still on the scene of a three-alarm fire that turned into a hazardous materials situation on the Southwest Side.
It started at about 9 p.m. Thursday on the 3800 block of West 38th Street.
Flames ripped through a building that’s home to several businesses – including one that produces chemicals used in fire extinguishers.
