Video: Chicago’s Life Safety Evaluation For High Rise Buildings Deadline is Nearing and Not All Buildings Have Taken The Appropriate Measures

Chicago’s City Leaders adopted a multi-year life safety plan following the deaths of six people in the Cook County Administration Building in 2003.  The plan requires all high rise buildings in Chicago to  complete the life safety evaluation by December, 31 2014.  You can see in the below video there are multiple buildings who have yet to adhere to the life safety evaluation.  Video posted by NBC 5
