Cincinnati Firefighter Dies on His Way to Work This Morning Following Crash

We regret to bring you more sad news this time out of Cincinnati, Ohio where a Firefighter was involved in a crash on his way to work this morning.  That Firefighter identified by the Local 48 in a statement below.  Our thoughts and prayers are with both the Cincinnati Fire Family and the Firefighters Family.  This comes following the LODD of a Pineville, North Carolina Firefighter late last night.

Local 48 – “It is with heavy heart that we report that Local 48 brother and Cincinnati Fire Fighter, Jordan Pieniazek, was killed in an auto accident this morning while on his way to reporting for duty at the firehouse. FF Pieniazek began his career with the CFD in 2009 and leaves behind his wife and two beautiful children. Please keep them in your thoughts.

Rest in Peace, brother. We’ll take it from here.”

WLWT CINCINNATI —A Cincinnati firefighter is dead after a motorcycle crash in Spring Grove Village.  

Authorities said the motorcycle crashed on Winton Road near Dutch Colony Drive at around 6:30 a.m.

Lt. Steve Saunders said that the firefighter was on his way to work in the southbound lanes when he was struck by an oncoming car that went left of center in the 5300 block of Winton Road.”…Continue Reading Here
