Fireground Audio: 4 Alarm Fire Following a Large Explosion at Wisconsin Factory. 4 Helicopters Requested as well as US&R Task Force Teams. Two Still Missing

Firegound audio of a large explosion and 4 Alarm fire in Cambria, Wisconsin.  Multiple burn and trauma patients as early reports state the entire facility exploded.  Companies are still on scene today with US&R Task Force Teams Searching the Debris.  The video was posted by ScannerAudio and description is below.

“An explosion ripped through a Wisconsin corn mill late Wednesday, killing at least one worker, injuring about a dozen others and setting off a frantic search for two more employees, officials said. The blast and large fire at the Didion Milling plant occurred around 11 p.m. local time (midnight ET) in the rural village of Cambria, about an hour’s drive northeast of Madison. About 16 workers were at the multi-level facility, although two of them made it out unharmed, Columbia County Sheriff Dennis Richards told reporters early Thursday. The rest were rushed to the hospital and at least one person was confirmed dead, he added. Richards could not immediately detail the extent of the injuries. Officials at Beaver Dam Hospital, which is located in neighboring Dodge County, confirmed to NBC News that it was treating patients. A spokesperson would not provide the number of injured.”

TMJ 4 – CAMBRIA, Wis. — The Sheriff’s Office in Columbia County continues to investigate what caused an explosion Wednesday night at a corn processing facility in Cambria.

According to the Sheriff, two people are still missing. One person is confirmed dead, and 11 were injured in the blast, which happened around 11 p.m.

Sheriff Dennis Richards declined to speculate about the severity of the injuries during a Thursday morning news conference.

“All I would say is, put yourself in an explosion. What do you think would happen? That’s all I know,” Richards said.”…Continue Reading Here
