Four firefighters and at least one other person were injured in a three-alarm fire in Chicago’s Old Town neighborhood Wednesday.

The fire broke out on at 1610 N. Wells St., which houses the Adobo Grill right next to The Second City.

The fire started in the stove area of the kitchen of the Adobo Grill on the first floor and traveled through the vent to the roof, Chicago Fire Department spokesman Larry Langford said. Langford added four fire personnel and one civilian were injured. None of the injuries were life-threatening.

The Second City offices located on the second and third floors of 1612 N. Wells are “pretty much shot,” he said. The fire did not spread to the main Second City building at 1616 N. Wells St., but some Second City areas sustained water damage.” (Click HERE to see full article)
