Chicago Firefighters responded early this morning to a fire in a 4 story hotel at 3001 W. Jackson. Â Companies found fire on the third and fourth floors of the hotel and encountered jumpers. Â Companies made several rescues via ground ladders and aerial ladders. Â Here is more on the story.
WGN News – Several people were injured in a fire at an residentialÂ hotel on Chicagoâ€™s West Side Saturday morning. Â One person jumped from the buildingâ€™s third floor. Several others had to be rescued from windows by firefighters. Â The fire began at 7:26Â A.M. Inside the J. R. Plaza Hotel at 3001 West Jackson.
