Milwaukee Firefighters had a close call late Tuesday night. A company was forced into an apartment and had to jump from the second floor to the ground due to rapidly changing fire conditions. Here is the news story and audio of that fire. Audio curtsey of Milwaukee Fire Department Incidents.
(WITI) â€” Fire crews on Tuesday night, December 2nd were called out to the scene of an apartment fire occurring in the 4300 block of W. Eggert Place. The call for this fire came in around 10:10 p.m.
When crews arrived on scene, they encountered heavy fire on the first floor and reports of people trapped on the second floor.
At that time, crews began a primary search of the second floor, but didnâ€™t find anyone. While searching the second floor, three firefighters became trapped by the flames and had to jump out a window.
