Video: Chicago Firefighters Rescue 2 From Building Explosion/Collapse

Chicago Firefighters rescued two people from an apparent explosion followed by a building collapse in the 5800 block of Calumet this evening. The explosion and collapse was elevated to a Still and Box Alarm and EMS Plan 1, with a special call for two light wagons. The Chicago Fire Department Collapse rig also responded. We don’t know on the conditions of the people who were trapped. Here is some more courtesy of WGN.

It happened in the 5800 block of South Calumet Avenue in the Washington Park neighborhood.
