Littleton Fire Rescue has a rare opening for a Cadet. The Fire Cadet performs a variety of work for the Fire Department, including Support Services, Administration, Training, Fire Suppression, Public Education and Emergency Medical Services as assigned. These duties include, but are not limited to: purchasing and delivering station supplies; video and audio productions; and compiling and preparing reports.

Â Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1Â Performs routine office activities such as answering telephones, greeting customers, filing
2Â Performs routine data entry into computer terminal and verifies accuracy of input.
3Â Performs special duties, conducts surveys, and performs related work as assigned by the Support Services Division Chief.
4Â Assists Training Officer in video productions;.
5Â Copies and collates materials for administration; runs errands for all chief officers and administrative staff.
6Â Assists with the purchase and distribution of department supplies.
7Â Plans and arranges work schedule and establishes priorities to complete scheduled and assigned work within guidelines provided by supervisor.
8Â Observes and follows established city and department polices and procedures in the daily conduct of the job.
9Â Operates a city vehicle on a daily basis to pick up and deliver supplies and run departmental errands.
10Â Delivers equipment and assists as needed with special events and community functions. Many of these events take place after 5 p.m. and on weekends.
11Â Delivers Â work Â product Â and Â services Â with Â responsiveness, Â courtesy Â and Â tact Â in personal interactions with customers and staff.
12Â Delivers work products and services to customers within assigned work schedule that averages 40 hours per week and is generally performed between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Mondays through Fridays.
13Â May serve as an Emergency Worker.
