Salary: $46,944 (less than 2 years of experience) $51,395 (more than 2 years of experience)

Job Description:

Under direct supervision, responsible for front line fire, EMS, rescue, hazardous materials and support operations demonstrating knowledge of departmental policies, procedures, and EMS protocols. Maintain emergency vehicles and facilities. Provide related training to the public as needed. This position is essential to emergency operations and therefore in the event of an emergency, all employees are required to have the ability to respond to emergency situations off-duty.


  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Texas Commission on Fire Protection Basic Firefighter certificate required.
  • Texas Department of State Health Services Paramedic certificate required.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Class B CDL or CDL Exempt Texas Driver’s License.
  • Must be able to pass physical ability test.
