Salary: $16.31 Hourly

Job Description:

State of Nebraska or National Registry Paramedic certification (EMT-P) REQUIRED at time of application.  National Registry Paramedic Certification REQUIRED on date of hire.

Qualifications:  High school graduate or equivalent.  Applicants must be at least 19 years old by the posted closing date.  Candidates must meet physical requirements as established by the City of Lincoln.  Possession of valid driver’s license.  Must obtain a Nebraska Firefighter I certification within 120 days of appointment.    SELECTED CANDIDATES MUST SUBMIT TO, AND SUCCESSFULLY PASS, A SUBSTANCE ABUSE TEST.

Applicants who successfully meet minimum requirements will be scheduled for the written exam.

Written exam and physical ability test are scheduled for March 5 and 6, 2018.  Testing information will be sent after the posted closing date.
