NBC Chicago:

“Four people were rescued from a tug boat that sank in Lake Michigan on the South Side on Monday afternoon.
Crews first responded to the boat just before 5 p.m., according to fire officials.
Deputy District Fire Chief Ron Dornecker said the tug boat lost power, possibly from big waves splashing onto the front of the boat.
“The winds and waves are bad, it’s pushing that boat into shore right now, so it’s a good thing we got out there as quickly as we did and removed the people,” Dornecker said. Full Story Continued…
