Chicago Firefighters Had a Still and Box Alarm Fire at a Downtown High-Rise Early Tuesday Morning.  Companies responded and reported a fire on the 14th floor.  More below from ABC7

No one was injured in a fire at a historic high-rise in the Loop. Flames could be seen shooting from the top floor of the 14-story New York Life Insurance Building near Monroe and LaSalle.

The historic building, built in 1898, is being converted into a hotel. It was designed by William Le Baron Jenney, the father of American skyscrapers.
