LODD: Firefighter Collapses and Dies at the Station in St. Paul, Minnesota

At approximately 5 PM tonight 38 year old Firefighter/Paramedic, and US Navy veteran, Shane Clifton collapsed and died while working at St. Paul Fire Department Station 14. Our prayers are with the brothers and sisters of the St. Paul Fire Department and to the family of Shane Clifton. Rest easy brother, another life taken too soon. “A St. Paul firefighter collapsed and died Monday night.

According to the St. Paul Fire Department, 38-year-old firefighter and paramedic Shane Clifton was on duty, working at Station 14 on Snelling Avenue in St. Paul.

Just after 5 p.m., he reportedly wasn’t feeling well and then collapsed, according to the department. He was treated by fellow firefighters and paramedics before being transported to Regions Hospital, where he later died.” (Read the full article HERE.)
