Photos: Several Working Fires in Flint, Michigan

Matthew Sosnowski was able to catch a few jobs in Flint, MI over the Halloween Weekend.  Below are some of his great photos and his description of this particular fire.  Thanks for sharing Matthew.

“MONDAY 10-31-2016 DATELINE THE CITY OF FLINT: 1ST ALARM + 2 S/C’S FOR A RESIDENTAL STRUCTURE FIRE @ IN THE 900 BLOCK OF VOSBURG CROSS STREETS OF ZIMMERMAN & COURT STREET FLINT FIRE HAD 2 STRUCTURES ON FIRE THE BUILDING OF ORIGIN IS A 2 STORY FRAME DUPLEX 80X40 ADDRESS OF THE DUPLEX WAS 912/922 VOSBURG WITH 922 VOSBURG BEING THE FIRE BUILDING. THE 912 VOSBURG 1/2 APPEARED TO BE OCCUPIED. THE 922 VOSBURG WAS TOO FAR GONE TO DETERMINE OCCUPENCY EXTENTION TO SECTOR 2 OR “B” SIDE WAS @ 932 VOSBURG THAT WAS A LARGE 2 STORY 30X60 FRAME OCCUPIED. TOA {TIME OF ALARM} = 02:09 HRS B/O/O GCCD {GENESSEE COUNTY CENTRAL DISPATCH} COS RESPONDING WERE TRUCK {QUINT}15 {1ST DUE} ENGINES 81/31 SQUAD 1/2 + DISTRICT COMMANDER. @ THE TOD {TIME OF DISPATCH} GCCD RADIOED ALL RESPONDING COMPANIES THAT INITIALLY ONLY 1 CALL WAS RECIEVED. THEN @ 02:11 HRS GCCD RADIOED THAT THEY WERE NOW GETTING MULTIPLE CALLS ON THIS FIRE IN ADDITION STARTED TO GIVE HYDRANT LOCATIONS TO THE RESPONDING APPARATUS. S/C #1 @ 02:12 HRS B/O/O GCCD S/C #1 CO RESP ENGINE 61. NOTE: GCCD RADIOED ALL RESPONDING COMPANIES THAT THEY WERE NOW GETTING REPORTS OF AN ENTRAPMENT @ THE LOCATION S/C #2 @ 02:32 HRS B/O/O OF THE D.C. S/C #1 CO RESPONDING ENGINE 51. NOTE WITH ENGINE 51 DISPATCHED TO THE SCENE ALL CITY OF FLINT APPARATUS WAS COMMITTED TO THIS INCIDENT PART #1″
