“Buffalo Firefighters battled a smoky early afternoon blaze August 24, 2015 at 134 Imson in the city’s Seneca/Babcock neighborhood. First arriving crews reported a large 2 1/2 story occupied wood frame with heavy fire showing from the windows on the #4 side of the building. The fire originated on the first floor in the rear and extended to the second floor and attic. Firefighters used four 1 3/4″ and one 2 1/2” hose lines to extinguish the fire. Extra companies were requested before the blaze was brought under control. Damage was estimated at $150,000 to the building and $75,000 to the contents. One firefighter was being treated by EMS crews at the scene for unknown injuries. The blaze also damaged 130 and 136 Imson.”
