“Watch at 480p
On March 6th 2015, Chestnut Ridge Volunteer Fire Company 500 and surrounding companies were alerted for a Dwelling Fire in a 50-07 Box on Garrison Forest Road. The box was struck at 4:11AM for a reported house fire with fire upstairs. When crews arrived, they faced challenging conditions with heavy fire coming out of the structure, several inches of snow on the ground, and limited water supply. Crews aggressively attacked the fire initially from the outside with two hand lines before making entry and knocking the fire. All occupants of the home were out upon fire department arrival. Two firefighters suffered minor injuries, were taken to the hospital, and later released. This is video footage from Fire Sergeant Kasura’s helmet cam.
The camera being used is a Fire Cam 1080 recording at 1080 HD footage at 29FPS.”
