Helmet cam- Tulsa asphalt tank explosion

As reported by KJRH-TV, Tulsa – Amazing video of a tank explosion was captured by a firefighter who had a camera mounted on his helmet.

It happened at Tulsa Asphalt Monday.

Firefighters were dousing the tanks with water when suddenly an explosion knocked the fireman back and sent him running away from the scene.

Watch the video, courtesy of Limestone Fire Protection District Capt. Don Boyle, in the player above. The explosion occurs around the 1:40 mark.

Three firefighters were injured during the fight, but all were released shortly after being checked out.
