Images: Philadelphia Fire Department Truck Company Involved in Crash This Morning

We are learning this morning that at approx. 10:30 (Eastern Standard Time) a Philadelphia Truck Company was involved in a crash.  We do not know many details yet other than there were 5 injuries.  It is now being reported that 5 Firefighters were transported.  Our thoughts are with Philadelphia Firefighters.

UPDATED: 2:09 P.M. CST WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — “Five firefighters were injured after an accident involving a fire truck in West Philadelphia.
The crash occurred around 10:10 a.m. Sunday at 55th Street and Baltimore Avenue.  Authorities say the fire truck was traveling westbound on Baltimore Avenue when it struck four parked cars. No one was inside the cars at the time.  The Philadelphia Fire Department tells Action News five firefighters sustained minor injuries. They were taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center for care.  No other injuries were reported.  The crash is under investigation.”
