“Tuesday, January 12, 2016Â Â We regret to pass on to you reports that a 24 year old Firefighter with the Siler City, North Carolina Fire Department (Chatham County Station 9) died in the Line of Duty this morning in a single vehicle crash. He was responding to an EMS call (cardiac arrest) at around 0100 hours. He lost control of his personally owned vehicle left the road striking a tree and unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. He is survived by a wife (expectant) and two children.Â Our condolences to all those affected. More to follow. RIP.”
