New Video Posted of FDNY Battling 5 Alarm Fire in Queens With Multiple Maydays

Another video was posted recently of the FDNY battling a 5 Alarm Fire in Queens, New York. 11 Firefighters were injured and we again wish the brothers a speedy recovery.  The video was posted by Tommy Felipe and description is below.

“FDNY On Scene Queens 5th Alarm Box 9281****99-55-9281**** 56-11 94th St. Heavy Fire in the Cockloft of a 7 Story 200×100 Multiple Dwelling. 4/11/17

At around 6:40pm New York City Fire Department units responded to 56-11 94th Street to reports of a fire. On arrival they had fire in the cockloft of a 7 Story Building and a 2nd alarm was transmitted upon arrival. Moments later the 3rd Alarm was transmitted and a 4th Alarm was later transmitted at around 7pm. A 5th Alarm was transmitted at around 7:30pm and the fire still remained doubtful an hour later after the 5th was transmitted and went under control at around 10:40pm. 11 Firefighters received minor injures and no civilians injures were reported and over 112 Apartments were destroyed in the fire.”‘
