Raw Video With Fireground Audio: LAFD Firefighters Battle Attic Fire

Raw video of LAFD Companies battling an attic fire.  You can hear the foreground audio in the background.  The video was posted by firelensman and description is below.

“12-25-2014 LAFD Engine 46 was originally sent out on a windy night to investigate “arcing wires” off Main Street in South Los Angeles. When arriving on scene they discovered smoke coming from the rear portion of the attic in small single family dwelling. They quickly requested the call to be upgraded to a “structure fire” response. It took L.A. Firefighters approximately 30 minutes to dig out the fire that communicated from live arching wires to the edge of the attic. There were no reported injuries, high winds contributed to several sets of arcing wires in that ally and neighborhoods throughout Los Angeles. – MNR -“

  1. Wondering why Firefighters die of cancer, you might find an explanation in this video

  2. Guess LA can’t afford gloves, not one on the five ff”s. On a ladder, on the edge of a roof, with a line and nobody heeling it. Risk vs Reward?
