Video: Dwelling Fire in Whitehall, Pennsylvania

Video of companies operating at a dwelling fire in Whitehall, Pennsylvania.  The video was posted by news working and description is below.

“At 9:42AM Lehigh County Fire Radio transmitted the box for 5204 Dewey Street in Whitehall for a fire reported in the kitchen of the dwelling, sending Engines 5 (LC4041), 4 (LC3912), 14 (:|LC3911), Truck 6 (LC3631), Medic 75 in place of Medic 62 and Chief 35 (Nelson). A second source (neighbor) reported smoke from the roof of the dwelling and Chief 35 struck out the 2nd alarm while enroute. The second alarm transmitted at 9:49AM consisting of Whitehall Engines 3 (LC3811), 2 (LC3712), 12 (LC3711), 1 (LC3611), Northampton Borough Truck 42, Air 32, Catasauqua Ladder 231 and Greenawalds Rescue 11 both for the F.A.S.T. companies. Ladder 42 was out-of-service and sent Engine 42 and East Allen sent their ladder tower 46. Engine 4 arrived and Chief 4A (LC3902) reported smoke showing from the front door and had his crew stretch a hand line to the interior for a fire on the second floor. Deputy 3503 (Bilder) took command and set up a staging area for the apparatus in the playground parking lot. The initial interior crew couldn’t locate the fire initially. A second hand line was stretched to the front of the building and was used to hit the fire from the outside to darken down the fire. Once the fire was darkened down, the initial interior crew went back inside. The fire was contained withing 25 minutes of arrival.”
