“FDNY On Scene Manhattan 6th Alarm Box 109 **66-66-0109** 24 Murray St. @ Church St. Heavy Fire on all Floors in a 5 Story Mixed Occupancy. 9/1/17 New York City Fire Department Units Responded to 24 Murray Street in Lower Manhattan Around 7 in the Afternoon to Reports of a Fire on the 2nd floor. Upon Arrival Units Had Heavy Fire in the Shaft on Multiple Floors and a 2nd Alarm was Quickly Transmitted. By an Hour Later the Fire had Grown to a 5th Alarm with Fire on all Floors, a 6th Alarm was Later Transmitted for Relief Purposes as the Main Body of Fire Had Been Knocked Down With a Few Pockets of Fire Still Remaining. The Fire was Placed Under Control Later That Night at Around 10 at Night.”
